My Experience With Porcelain Dental Veneers
Written by The Porcelain Veneers Houston Cosmetic Dentist

Dear Dentiq,

After three visits, my smile makeover is complete. Let me start by saying that I love it! As many of you know, the first visit was for impressions so the lab could make the porcelain veneer temporaries. This visit was not painful at all and it took about 30 minutes. Three weeks later I would have my temporary teeth installed.

The Porcelain Veneer Temporaries

I don't remember a lot about this visit because of the sedation; however, I do recall being in a good amount of discomfort towards the end. So if you're wondering if it hurts when your porcelain veneers are installed, I would say yes, it does! Would I do it again? Of course I would because I love how I look now. This visit took eight hours and it took me three to four days to fully recover. Three weeks later was the last treatment visit.

The Porcelain Veneer Finals

I don't really recall much of this visit either and I especially don't recall any discomfort which I was really anxious about because of the previous visit. This visit lasted about six hours and it took me two days to fully recover and not feel sore anywhere.

Summary

In summary, after only three visit my smile makeover with porcelain dental veneers was completed. It was moderately painful and it was worth it!

Sincere regards,

Julie N.
